Both of these Applibot paintings are magnificent, and easily favorites of mine since you've captured an interesting concept with them - take an ancient, divine being with cosmic powers and put it in the form of a young girl with an innocent-seeming exterior. It leads one to wonder how far her innocence goes, if she is all-ancient cosmic being or if she likes to sometimes play with space and time a bit like a child might play with her favorite toys. That notion comes into play well here, with the girl having what I would call a sense of pure childlike wonder on her face as she stretches forth her hand and manifests her powers. Great choice to have her "grounded" so to speak with her feet on solid earth - a grassy stretch of ground. It serves as a nice contrast to the comic star-scape just above. As I said with your other painting in this set, I love that dress it is simply gorgeously imagined! The use of the color pink in both images sets a nice "pretty" and feminine tone to the proceedings that dovetails well with the whole notion that... cosmic powers aside... perhaps we are dealing with just a little girl here after all. Magnificent work on these indeed!
